As I was doing laundry this week, I came across a pair of jeans and a pair of capris belonging to little T - both of which had holes in the knees. Since she is in need of some shorts to play in, I decided a little re-purposing was in order.
Of course, as usual, I forgot to take "before" pictures, so you'll just have to imagine that the above shorts were once a pair of well-used jeans and the shorts pictured below were a pair of capris that had been handed down to her from her now 14 year-old sister. Now they've been given new life!
Supplies Used:
*old jeans/capris cut off at or above knees
*Applique - Note: the applique is iron-on, but I stitched it down as well to insure that it would stay put through multiple washings and wearings.
